Beginning her career in retail management, Pamela McDaniels, an Escrow Officer at Ohio Real Title’s Columbus location and a graduate of the University of Akron, turned to finance in hopes of finding a position that allowed her flexibility as she started her family.
“I was looking for a company that would allow me to have a great work experience during the day, but allow me to enjoy my personal time. ORT provides great balance,” Pamela notes. “This is a rare find in this industry.”
Since then, she has found a home in title insurance and credits her success in the industry to her early roots in retail and her ability to, “educate and grow the younger generation of title coordinators.”
Pamela’s day-to-day responsibilities as an escrow officer include, “ Reviewing each order to ensure accuracy, preparing packages for closing, communicating with all parties throughout the closing process, and disbursing funds and finalizing all documents.” She is described by her coworkers and clients as “diligent, hard-working, and a team player.”
We recently had the opportunity to talk with Pamela McDaniels about some of her favorite things and how she spends her time away from ORT.
